What Is An RSS Feed?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It allows you to stay up to date with all your favorite websites articles without actually having to visit each individual site. So on our site, if you subscribe to our RSS feed it will allow you to track when a new article is posted and view its full contents in one place along with any other sites you chose to add.

RSS Readers

There are many free (and paid) RSS reader options out there. Some are web based… so you visit 1 website to view all the articles you have subscribed to. Others are programs that you run separately that catalog the information.

My personal favorite is Google Reader which is free and web based. You can see a short tutorial video on how to use it below:
