Woo Ha any luck did you get your refund yet?
I filed on Oct. 15 got accepted and expected date is Nov. 1st but since they DD every Friday it may be Nov. 4th which would make it 3 weeks
I e filed 10/17/2011 irs accepted 10/18/2011 I opted direct deposit and was expecting Friday morning after 12am. WMR says they received my return and it is being is being processed. My deposit date says November 1st which is on Tuesday. But I thought irs only made deposits on Friday. Several different 1-800 numbers all say the same thing, “WE RECEIVED YOUR RETURN AND IT IS BEING PROCESSED.” BUT WMR says that to however the expected date says: ” SENT / DEPOSIT 11/01/10. Since this is October I don’t understand the delay as the peak business slowed down. I met the October 17th deadline and was wondering why my return didn’t get deposited yesterday ( being Friday Oct 28th ) So is Nov 1st accurate cause that will be Tuesday and thought all direct deposits from irs are ALWAYS on a Friday. OS Nov 1st a guarantee deposit? Someone help I’m so confused!!!
DON’ DELETE THIS! Your site has a lot of great stuff. I hate to even mention IRS, but if you have tax problems there are only two guys that even count? Check them out. They will take care of you and your readers!

Do you have a chart for “IRS EFile – When Will I Get My Refund Direct Deposit or Check? (2011)”?
i sent my refund in feb 10th they lost my 1st time homebuyers credit info so i sent it in again. and again for the third time. its been almost 5 months and all they tell me is its being processed. if i owed them money they would be at my front door. this is just not right. i need my money…..now!
I submitted my return on the 15th of Jan. and the IRS still haven’t issued me a direct deposit or a paaper check on my refund someone please help me with a number or web site of someone who can assist me i’m a single mother in georgia who needs her return
I filed my federal taxes on may 10 then when i checked my e-file status it said i was accepted i wanted to direct deposit but i forgot to put the last two numbers on the account info an they told me they couldn’t change it which is stupid cause now i have to wait another 4or5 weeks to recieve my refund. Then i called back an they tell me me that i don’t have a refund date for the check to be issued so i have to wait on a letter from them saying if i’m going to get my refund or not my direct deposit date was for may 25 2010 but since my account number was off by two numbers they don’t know when my refund will be here this H&R block is sum b****s***.
I filed at the end of March and I still haven’t received my refund. Called the IRS. At first they said because I had a name change, it didn’t match my social. But I told them that I DID change it with the Social Sec Administration, and didn’t have problems when the DMV checked it.
The lady on the phone seemed confused, so she said “ok, well it’s just under investigation”. WTF??
Then she told me that I should have received it on April 1, but now it would take six weeks.
I don’t think they know what they’re doing, nor do I believe that it would take this long to see that the error is on their side. I’ve been trying to be patient, but it seems ridiculous over something so simple.
They wouldn’t be dragging their feet if I was the one that owed back taxes.
HELP!!! I just called the IRS and they don’t have my tax return. I contacted my accountant several times and left her messages via email and voicemail. She WON’T call me back. I’ve used her before and never had this problem. I can’t refile b/c she has everything. In fact, I need my return for other reasons. I’ve left messages telling her this and she WON’T GET BACK TO ME.
I checked my bank statement and “YES” she did cash my check (in fact the very next day) so she got paid. Any suggestions??? I’m at a loss as to what to do. My hubby is going to be so mad.
We need the money + the return itself.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HI… I think taxes are the main problems for everyone so if we are getting back some of them then why not it feel better because tax money is us we pay taxes whole life then why not we claim that money every one should do you are so lucky i think at last you got your money.
Hey All. Just wanted you to know my income tax came like the woman said it would. I hope it works out for everyone else.
Well I’ll see tomorrow. I called again today and she said it’s supposed to be deposited tomorrow unless I owe, which sounds strange to me. You would think they would know that if I’m supposed to get it tomorrow. I will be disappointed if I don’t. Lol!
That is BS. We e-filed using Turbo Tax on 4/15, and my direct deposit date has been changed from 4/23 to 4/30 to 5/3 and now 5/11. I’m sure they wouldn’t like it if we just didn’t send them THEIR money.
My accountant efiled my return. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get a date from her but I’m 99% sure it was on 4/15/10. I tried to get a received date from the IRS but they’re unable to locate anything. Maybe you can help:
1) What site did you use?
2) Does the exact dollar amt include cents.
I just called yesterday. I submitted my return via e-file on the 11th and it was accepted the 12th. I still haven’t seen an update on the IRS site, which is why I called. I called last week and they still hadn’t processed it, but when I called yesterday they said they were still processing it and as long as there were no problems I would receive this year’s on Friday. I did think it was strange that they are sending last thar via check and I requested direct deposit, but as long as I receive it I’m happy.
Sally, when were you scheduled to get it? Was it last Friday?
I called the IRS yesterday and was able to speak to someone. They said as long as there are no problems with processing I’ll get it Friday and last year’s next week. Cross your fingers. I called 1-800-829-0582 ext 462. Hope this helps.
It was supposed to be there the 9th and came on the Wednesday the 7th. I did e-file. My friend’s mom e-filed for me and had it direct deposited into her bank account.
Don’t they realize they messing with peoples lives? Yes, some people may feel that your taxes shouldn’t be a safety net. Well…..explain that to those people who have been hit hard by this economy. Usually those people are rich and extremely ignorant. Or, maybe Mommy and Daddy take care of them. Not everyone family fortunate enough to have dual strong incomes. My husband and I are on the verge of Bankruptcy. I live in Michigan, can anyone recommend a reliable law firm to go through. Sorry to vent so early in the morning but that tax money is mine and I really need it. Congrats to those out there who can use their return to go on vacation or buy jewelry- aren’t you so lucky!!!
