   I mailed in my amended return 3/1/2011 and i didnt sign it so they mailed it back on 3/20/2011. didn’t received it until 4/30/2011. I signed it and sent it back on 4/31/2011 and it was recieved and completed 5/10/2011. it was mailed back on 6/16/2011 and i still have not rgot my check in the mail and today is 7/6/2011. It only takes about 3 days to receive something by mail. I need my damn money. its clear they havent really sent it out like they keep telling me!

   Apparently the obowma administration is so broke they are pulling the same crap that every broke business and person pulls…the check is in the mail, wrong address, some banking error and on the on the excuses flow. And don’t expect anything from the so called press anymore…their heads are so far up obowma,s butt they are simply useless!

   Tell you what,My husband filed seperate mid March and are getting the same bull…… but when april 15 th came along, being self employed… u bet I had to send my estimated in on time or be fined.. where is my husbands refund?

   I filed with TT on March 19. STILL no refund. Just the same stupid notice everyone else is getting: “Please mention reference number 1102 to the IRS Customer Service Representative. Blah, blah, blah.”

   I filed my federal return 2/08/2011 and was told I would receive my refund @March 1st. It is May 8th (Mother’s Day–how fitting) and I just checked the system and it now says I can expect my refund @May 26. The IRS says there is no error on my return but that there is a delay in processing. I wish I could delay their paychecks–not great when you are unemployed!

   Estoy al igual que ustedes desde noviembre del 2010 el irs me esta procesando el reembolso de 6430.00 por la compra de mi casa segun el plan de obama y al final desdele dia 15 de abril salio el cheque segun el irs pero ya pasaron 10 dias laborables y nada???? cuanto mas debo esperar /o sera que se extravio pero que dificil es que se extravie un bill ?esos nunca se pierden

   my daughter and son in law filed 2-14-11and they were told it would be dd on march 1st,then they said march 15th,then they said march 30th,then they said, april 1st,then they said april 14th,then they said april 29th which is today and now they say may 10th…….

   Hey everyone,

   We filed our taxes on Feb 14, 2011 and still we haven’t heard anything from IRS. I called 5x every time operator is telling me tha I have to call the IRS in 3 weeks and its going on since mid Feb. Sad Sad !, what is going on with the government they make the mistakes and we are the schmucks who pays them for making those mistakes.
   The government is slowly dying, yet we are digging the graves for ourselves by doing nothing against it. We need to take this serious because it will get worse. In fact, soon we all be begging on the streets just like the guys we see every day standing on the side of the road with sign saying Hungry! Now, we are laughing at them by saying ” look at this dom ass begging, go look for a job.”

    efile on 2/14/11 should have gotten my refund march 1st now its telling me error code 1301 its damn near april called irs today my return is in the error department they say it takes up to 30 days to correct any mistakes on there part now i have a new date april 8th so im praying that it right. Becuz its my money and i want it NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The IRS website says my return WAS already deposited to my account on 3/18 I still don’t have any money in said account! I have bills that need paid out of that money! With all they take away, you’d think it wouldn’t be such a problem to give back what we are already owed!!

    My husband and I e-filed and requested direct deposit, we recieved acceptance from IRS of return and we received notification of Direct Deposit Feb 25. We then saw on the IRS “where is my return” site that they would be issuing a paper check instead and it would be mailed march 4. It is March 18th and we are still waiting on the check. Doesn’t do any good to contact the IRS, becuase they basically just tell you they don’t know where the check is. They have told us there isn’t a problem with the refund, just that we need to allow more time. I KNOW our mail system isn’t that slow, so what I want to know is who’s desk is my check sitting on and why haven’t they put it in the mail. It isn’t right for the IRS to run by a double standard. Demand money when it is owed to them and add on late fees, interest, etc when it is received late. When it comes to the average American needing their money from the IRS, TOTALLY different story. They have a care free attitude about paying back money that isn’t theirs.

    Filed on 2/19 with itemized deductions (simply house nothing spectacular) 2 kids no daycare nothing different than in the past 10 years I have been e-filing with TT. Refund expected 3/4 maybe 3/11 (according to IRS website). Dates come and go then they update to 3/15?? Before 3/15 refund status updated to say they are sending me a letter regarding my refund, which will contain further instructions. I finally call today because I have not received a letter…IRS says no letter has actually been sent as of yet, (and actually may not be at all) all she can tell me is that they pulled my refund to decide if they want to audit it or not, and they have 90 days from the date they pulled it (3/10) to make that decision. I just don’t understand what the problem is with the IRS this year, other than they simply can’t pay those of us who religously pay them every single paycheck.!!! Frustrated beyond belief.

    up until this year, i have never had a problem with doing my taxes and getting them back! my boyfriend and i efiled on the SAME DAY, i got mine back in 8 days ( like it says) and he is STILL WAITING. now we did our taxes in the middle of Feb. granted he owed on some student loans, so his is taking a while, but when we talked to them, he said we should have gotten them all back by now. he has recived his federal ( 3 weeks ago) and is still waiting on his state. he also had to do 2 years of back taxes, they took both state away ( and he doesnt even OWE ANYTHING TO THE STATE) we still have yet to recive federal. from the previous years, and have still not recived state from this year. its been over a month!! seriously… getting irritated!! wth is wrong with the government this year?!

    I am in the same boat as you Idaho. I have been blowing their phones up! I get the same B/S they gave you. Maybe they will get tired of me calling and just give me my money… sure is going to stink not having electricity for a while.

    We tried to e-file our taxes on Feb 4th, 2011. Couldn’t do so cause of the first time home buyer loan repayment. Were told by H&R Block we have to come back and file on Feb 14th. So we did so and paid $178 bucks for filing fees. Once we e-filed within the first few days I checked IRS website for our refund status. There is said to expect our refund by March 1st, 2011. March 1st, 2011 comes around and still no money. Called them then and was told to give it three weeks. I told them it already has been three weeks since we e-filed. They said too bad too sad wait another week. On March 11th I called them again. Was told to give it 4 to 6 weeks. Called today and was told that because of the first time home buyer loan repayment our taxes are being delayed. Asked them why? And they said cause IRS doesn’t know how to process that repayment portion and give us the rest of the refund back. Told me to call back in 30 darn days!!! Are you for reals???? Common now???? WHERE IS MY MONEY??? God forbid if we owe them money, they will find any means to get $$$ out of us including garnishing our wages and putting liens on our properties and bank accounts.
    So…. we are still waiting for our money

    i was supposed to get my tax refund on 2/18/11 or 2/25/11… welll my state check was deposited but when 2/18 came i didnt have my federal refund.. then 2/25 came and i still didnt have it….so i called and the irs gave me some shit about …we have to check to make sure you don’t owe any back taxes ( which i don’t) and yu will get your return in 6 to 8 weeks. so now i have to wait till like may before i get my return. this is bullshit. i have never owed back taxes and now all of sudden it seems like there trying to find reason’s not to give me my money. I THINK THIS HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE FACT THAT THEY ARE IN DEBT.

    We electronically filed. When we did so, they wouldn’t accept it till 2/14. It stated once they accepted it that we should receive a refund on 3/1. 3/1 came and went and no tax refund, so I called the following Friday. The lady I spoke with said I should expect it around 3/9. Here it is 3/14, and still NO TAX REFUND. I called them and they finally told me that since they had to hold all the taxes and only accept them on 2/14 that they are backlogged. She then preceeded to tell me that I should expect my taxes sometime this year, but they don’t know when!!!

    same here the site says mailed march 4th i live in north jersey they said it was mailed from andover ma, my sister had the same date and lives in south jersey she got hers on monday, from philly, what is going on with them this year, anyone get a check this week?

    I also had prob with TT have done taxes for 10 years neber again! now they said they are mailing me a check i called yesterday the 8th of march and it was mailed out the 4th of march ok seriously it dont take that long i got a amended return check next day after they said they mailed it what is going on???

    I did mine via HRblock 1/31 they said wont be sumbitted til 2/14 and will be direct deposited til 2/25..cool! 2/25, 2/26 still nothing in my acct…i look on IRS webiste…now they say 3/25 WTH….i could of done it myself paid not fees and prob had it by now had i chosen snail mail…this is the 1st time i use direct deposit…and will be the LAST!!

    the irs mailed my refund on the feb 11th 2011 and still now i have not receive my fucking money. they said it will take 3-4 weeks to receive the check. but what i dont understand is why will i have to wait 3 weeks for the check to come in the mail. i thought it would take 7-10 business days. not 14-20 business days. i mean really now. i think irs is lying that they mailed the check on every date basis. they are holding the check so people would be so piss.

    Seems from what I am seeing online, if the IRS direct deposits your refund on a friday, it doesn’t actually appear in your account til the following tuesday or wednesday. I was told by the IRS website my refund was deposited on 2/25. It’s now 2/28 and still no money. I am not going to freak out TOO badly til tomorrow, the 1st. If it hasn’t hit by then, I am going to start doing the phone call thing.

    i just called because my refund was not in my bank and it was suppost to be there the 11 they told me that a bank number was never put on file even though on my copy of my tax refund there is an account number.

    we filed our taxes 31st of january and efiled they said it acepted be direct deposite feb 11th .well it not there the bank info was correct so the ppl with tax act republic bank said they got it because the bank reject it ,yeah ok and gonna mail it out to on the 10th mmm sounds fishy.still waiting.has anyone ever had promble with that service?

    I sent my taxes through the mail on jan 8 and theye mailed my refund check on february 11 20011 i recieved my check today through mail february 14 and i live in chicago, il so if your waiting for your check it only takes 3 to 4 days including sat and sunday
