Five Tips for Switching to a Higher Paying Career

Career Journal has an article up with some advice if you are thinking about switching careers. The five main tips are:
1. Prepare to take a step back.
2. Show how your skills are a good fit.
3. Focus your resume on your talents.
4. Look the part.
5. Be ready to discuss your career change.
Some interesting points, I have been thinking about going back for my MBA as of late because there seems to be only so far I can get as a computer analyst. For me taking the step back would be the hardest part, as I’ve gotten used to the lifestyle my salary has afforded me now, but I suppose it would the best in the end.

Its hard but Its never too late to start studying again. And as you said it, the MBA will certainly be worth all the pains in the long run. Good luck.
