Summary
My first down net worth month in quite a while. The bloodbath in the stock market certainly didn’t help, it looked like I was going to crack $50k in my 401k for the first time this month but then that happened.
Unfortunately my cash was also a bit depleted so I couldn’t put any money into the market during the downslide. Something I’m hoping to work on.
Monthly Goals
This is going to be another tough month. I have to pay our homeowners insurance and our school taxes are coming next month which makes me cringe. Hopefully the stock market can rebound for my lack of savings recently.

Jon – I don’t really devote a lot of time on a daily basis. I have more of a long trading style and a good percentage of my money is in mutual funds and ETFs.
How much of a time investment per day do you typically devote to your stocks? Namely, do you find yourself going long or short in your trading style?
